Master's thesis : "Screw-Fastened Cold-Formed Steel-to-Steel Shear Connection Behavior and Models"
- Designed (NEX software) and manufactured (CNC machine) a test setup for screw-fastened cold-formed steel -to-steel shear connection.
- Created and performed a rigorous test program for 500 repeated tests. Elaborated a self-made optical measuring device (2 cameras) allowing steel specimens and fastener motion tracking, bearing
and tearing identification, tilting behavior, and relative displacement between the plies
- Created a self-made MATLAB algorithm performing image processing (~700 pictures by camera per test) and statistical data investigation.
